Central fatigue is a debilitating condition with unclear pathogenesis and limited treatments. Emerging evidence implicates the gut-brain axis in neurological disorders, but its role in central fatigue remains unexplored. This study aimed to elucidate the gut-brain axis in central fatigue via multi-omics and identify potential therapeutic targets.
