• Monazite and rutile from the REE-bearing carbonatites yield crystallization ages of ∼ 240 Ma, indicating emplacement during Late Triassic magmatism. • Apatite in syenites and monazite in carbonatites from the Yangyugou Complex exhibit contrasting εNd values (–16.1 to –10.8 vs. –20.3 to –18.6), indicating distinct magmatic sources. • The Yangyugou Complex records two discrete magmatic events: Silurian syenite (∼ 438.9 ± 3.3 Ma) derived from partial melting of the lower crust and metasomatized mantle, and Late Triassic carbonatite (∼240 Ma) generated by mixing of mantle-derived melt with REE- and CO2-rich slab fluids and deep-sea sediment–derived fluids, emplaced along pre-existing structural pathways.
