This letter investigates covert communication against a sampling-constrained multi-stream warden employing cumulative sum (CUSUM) detection. We study random reselection as an analytically tractable baseline, where Willie samples a stream while the CUSUM statistic remains positive and is randomly reselected upon reset. Exact expressions for the average run length to false alarm (ARL2FA) and average detection delay (ADD) are derived. Multi-stream uncertainty preserves the $\Theta \left ({ \gamma ^{-\frac {1}{2}}}\right)$ scaling of the maximum $\varepsilon $ -covert transmit power while changing its leading constant through the selection dynamics. Finally, simulations demonstrate that random reselection yields the smallest ADD compared to the three classical policies under identical transmit power.
