• Molecular integration of shape-memory polymers PLA/PCL with PQDs via a functional synergistic optimization strategy, fabricating a novel fluorescent composites PQD@PP. • The obtained PQD@PP exhibits enhanced water stability, thermal stability and light stability while maintaining robust shape-memory performance. • PQD@PP composites enable multifunctional applications in anti-counterfeiting, information encryption, and WLED fabrication.
