Abstract

• Developed facile method using polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) to anchor Cu/Ni nanocluster on Ti₃C₂Tₓ, enhancing stability and catalytic performance. • Catalyst achieved 1.5 A/cm² at 2.4 V (60 °C) during seawater electrolysis, indicating high efficiency. • Achieved low overpotentials of 49 mV for HER and 290 mV for OER at 10 mA cm⁻². • Demonstrated durability with Various industrial scale current densities 100, 500, and 1000 mA cm⁻² under sea water. • The optimal catalyst Provides a scalable solution for hydrogen production from seawater, supporting sustainable energy conversion and a hydrogen economy.
