Abstract
En 中文
• We use local variations in flow, soil, and terrain to optimise riparian buffers. • Most Estonian streams need 1–10 m buffers, but some high-risk areas require 100 m. • Our novel approach scales local buffer strip efficiency knowledge to national level. • The proposed methodology informs flexible-width buffer strip implementation.
