Abstract

• Botanical insecticides offer promising alternatives in IPM, with minimal negative impact on beneficial organisms. • Pest control applications and ecological intensification rely on the diversification of the agricultural landscapes, and so largely on the functionality of associational resistance mechanisms in pest control • Integrating natural enemies and pollinators promotes nature-based solutions in sustainable agriculture by enhancing pest control, pollination and ecosystem resilience through IPPM.
