Abstract
En 中文
• Nd3+-activated WO3-Gd2O3–B2O3 glasses were prepared by the melt quenching technique. • Near-infrared scintillation originating from Nd3+ 4f-4f transitions was observed. • 3.0% Nd doping provided the highest scintillation performance. • Lower detection limit of X-ray dose rates was 26 mGy/h with the best sample. • Afterglow level of the 3.0% Nd sample was 84 ppm at 20.0 ms after X-ray irradiation.
