• A novel extended direct algebraic neural network method is proposed and applied on the KM model. • Having application in ocean currents, atmospherics, as well as the behavior of plasma waves. • A [2,2,3,1] neural network model is used to explore the novel soliton solution. • LM-ANN is also used to prove the accuracy and reliability of the analytical solutions. • Fitness plots, regression analysis, and error measures are used to assess the performance of the neural network in various situations.
