Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
If certain entries in a number tower are missing, when are the remaining ones uniquely determined? We explore this question with all the entries being positive integers and when the integers are no longer restricted to be positive. In this latter case, number towers of the same size form an abelian group. The structure of this group gives information about constructing puzzles about towers with missing entries.
