Plant cream with trans fatty acids poses severe health risks; and cholesterol is the core marker to distinguish plant and animal cream. Traditional detection is cumbersome; so we developed a smartphone assisting on-site colorimetric detection for cholesterol based on nanozymes; achieving Limit of detection (LOD) of 0.885 μM and 100% accuracy identification of animal and plant cream.
