Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• PbO2 and Er2O3 addition increased density (4.434-4.973 g/cm3) and slightly raised molar volume, indicating a more open glass structure. • UV-Vis. spectra showed Er3+ transitions, with band gaps decreasing to 2.899 eV (direct) and 2.438 eV (indirect) at intermediate loading. • The LAC at 0.2 MeV rose from 1.888 to 2.446 cm−1 with higher PbO2 and Er2O3 content, enhancing shielding performance. • RPE exceeded 90% below 0.2 MeV (1 cm thickness), highlighting suitability for optical and gamma-ray protection.
