Abstract

• Proposed a resilient Fuzzy Adaptive Exponent Control (FAEC) strategy for efficient power distribution in AC microgrids under dynamic loading conditions. • Developed a novel Botox Optimization Algorithm (BOA) for optimal tuning of FAEC controller parameters. • FAEC demonstrated 105.24% faster stabilization of ΔPZ1 compared to fuzzy PID and >500% improvement over PID controllers. • BOA outperformed conventional optimizers such as SCA and PSO in achieving optimal controller performance. • The combined BOA–FAEC framework ensures reliable secondary control, maintaining frequency stability and enhancing microgrid resilience in islanding operation.
