• New approach for 3-D elastodynamics with heterogeneous materials. • Use of three elastodynamics PDEs for derivation of one stencil equation. • Use of interface conditions as constraints for stencil equations. • New 3-D post-processing procedure for stress calculations based on PDEs. • Reduction in the number of DOF by 104– 106 times compared to FEM.
