Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
This paper studies the tolerability of global optimization for max-plus linear systems, which refers to the performance of remaining the global minimum unchanged under parameter perturbations. The necessary and sufficient condition of tolerability is given, and the tolerance intervals are constructed so that the global minimum remains unchanged when the parameters vary within these intervals. All relatively maximal tolerance intervals are found out to determine the maximum range of parameter perturbations, and a polynomial algorithm is provided to calculate these intervals. Meanwhile, the tolerability method proposed is used for analyzing the robustness of dynamical behaviors, and applied to the scheduling of manufacturing systems, in which the processing times are prolonged without delaying the completion times, while meeting the energy-saving requirements.
