Abstract
En 中文
• The SMA is especially vulnerable to unexpected high-impact weather events. • An unexpected meso-γ-scale snowstorm event in the SMA is investigated. • High-resolution simulations show that the geomorphology in Haeju Bay induced an LCVA. • The snowstorm developed as the LCVA coupled with an upper-level trough system. • Capturing LCVA is vital for high-impact weather forecasts with high-resolution models.
