1. No treatment is formally approved for second-line pleural mesothelioma, and real-world data on treatment patterns following first-line nivolumab/ipilimumab are scarce. 2. Platinum/pemetrexed as second-line treatment after nivolumab/ipilimumab achieves a median overall survival of 11.5 months and disease control in 72% of patients with pleural mesothelioma. 3. Response rates and survival outcomes with second-line platinum/pemetrexed suggest prior immunotherapy does not compromise chemotherapy efficacy. 4. High treatment attrition (58% from first-line to second-line, 84% from first-line to third-line) emphasizes the importance of early second-line treatment consideration.
