Abstract

• A novel 39Al-10Mo-51(NbTaTi) alloy was designed by combining empirical criteria and CALPHAD method. • The microstructure of the 39Al-10Mo-51(NbTaTi) alloy are discussed at room temperature. • The temperature oxidation mechanism of the alloys at 1000, 1100 and 1200 °C were analyzed.
