Abstract

• CeO₂ achieves a synergistic distribution within the Mo matrix, located at both grain boundaries and within the grain interior, with an intragranular number density reaching 82%. • The intragranular CeO2 particles establish a CeO2(200)//Mo(101) semi-coherent interface with the Mo matrix, which provides significant work hardening capacity for Mo matrix, thereby improving the ductility. • The Mo-CeO2 alloy develops a <111>//RD soft orientation texture, which promotes the generation and ordered movement of dislocations within Mo, further improving ductility.
