Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
This letter presents a parity consistency guided scheme for ordered statistics decoding (OSD) of short block length Polar Codes. By exploiting structured parity check constraints, inconsistent error pattern candidates are proactively eliminated before full metric evaluation, which significantly reduces the decoding search space. Furthermore, probabilistic amplitude shaping is employed to improve reliability ordering and soft metric accuracy, further improving the system error correction performance under high-order modulation. Simulation results show that the proposed method achieves up to 0.8 dB gain at a frame error rate (FER) of <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$10^{-2}$ </tex-math></inline-formula>, all while achieving nearly 65% error pattern filtering efficiency compared with existing OSD methods.
