Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• PIV experiments quantify near-field flow disturbance around the scaled mooring cable under periodic and breaking waves. • This study provides model-scale experimental benchmark data for the calibration and improvement of numerical mooring cable models. • This study reveals the relationship between local hydrodynamic and structural responses under wave loading through pressure-gradient reconstruction and fairlead tension measurements.
