Abstract
En 中文
• Real textile wastewater exhibited severe and rapid wetting during membrane distillation. • Surface tension was identified as a key indicator of MD applicability. • Pre-treatment with activated carbon delayed wetting and improved permeate quality. • Vacuum membrane distillation doubled permeate flux but did not eliminate wetting limitations. • Textile effluent reuse by membrane distillation must be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
