Abstract

• Assessed wearable CORE for nocturnal core body temperature (CBT) monitoring. • CORE had limited accuracy compared with the rectal thermistor sensor. • Wide limits of agreement (LoA) indicate substantial measurement errors from CORE. • CORE captures circadian CBT rhythm in women and shows high reliability in men. • Accuracy limitations should be noted when using CORE for sleep quality assessment.
