• Critical flowability threshold (∼330 mm) causes vertical color deviation. • Gypsum, AFt, and water are floating up while clinkers are settling down. • X-CT shows bleeding channels (>1000 μm) in high-fluidity paste. • Finer mineral admixtures mitigate color variation via packing and absorption.
