• By analyzing survival and mutation rates, the optimal radiation dose for inducing mutagenesis in Bougainvillea was determined. Integrating survival rates, physiological and biochemical indicators, and transcriptomic data, we revealed its radiation stress response patterns through antioxidant defense, osmotic regulation, and DNA repair pathways. Transcriptomic analysis identified differentially expressed genes linked to radiation response, serving as molecular markers for mutant screening and functional validation targets.
