Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Simultaneous reduction of Cr(VI) and Ni(II) adsorption by thiourea-functionalized CSAC@Fe3O4. • Under acidic conditions, Cr(VI) is in-situ reduced and stable in Cr(III). • Available sites of -S and N deliver a favorable coordinate for Ni(II) uptake. • Effective adsorption is sustained in real electroplating wastewater with coexisting ions. • DFT calculations provide adsorption energies and mechanisms of charge transfer.
