Flexible X-ray detectors with suppressed optical crosstalk are essential for contrast-retentive in high spatial resolution imaging. However, optical crosstalk in indirect flexible scintillators leads to rapid contrast degradation at high spatial frequencies, fundamentally limiting high-performance X-ray imaging. Here, we introduce a woven mesh architecture that enables pixel-isolated flexible scintillators by geometrically confining scintillation photons within individual pixel units. By loading CsCdCl3:Mn2+ microcrystals into a flexible woven metal mesh, large-area flexible scintillators with tunable pixel pitches are constructed. Owing to effective suppression of lateral photon diffusion, the flexible scintillators exhibit contrast-retentive X-ray imaging behavior, maintaining an ultra-high Michelson contrast of 0.71 even at a high spatial frequency of 12.5 lp mm−1, whereas conventional thin-film scintillators show pronounced contrast collapse. The scintillators exhibit a high light yield of 51 040 photons MeV−1, and low detection limit of 64 nGy s−1, mechanical flexibility, while remaining the scalability for areas exceeding 1200 cm2. This work establishes a manufacturable architectural strategy for pixel-isolated, contrast-retentive X-ray imaging at high spatial frequencies.
