• Co-Mo metallic bond is efficient active site on various plastic wastes for PMS activation • Co-Mo metallic bond triggers 97% 1O2 selectivity and ultra-fast OFX removal • Mo modulates Co spin state resulting in 3.68-fold improvement of electron transfer • Continuous-flow test confirms that OFX removal maintains >95% after 240 h reaction
