Abstract
En 中文
• A temperature rise model at coated tool-chip interface considering surface roughness is established. • The established numerical framework exhibits favourable adaptability in handling real rough surface morphology. • The thermal safety threshold of the TiAlSiN coating corresponds to a friction critical power density of 7.53 kW/cm2. • TiAlSiN coated tools exhibits a more pronounced temperature rise to external mechanical loads than TiN or TiC coated tool.
