• Compared with the period shift increment, the period shift ratio is better suited as an EDP for constructing a PSDM. • ASI, VSI, DSI, INp , and Sa,avg ( 0.2T1,2T1 ) are selected as the optimal intensity measures (IMs) for developing the PSDM. • Relative to other EDPs, using the period shift ratio as the EDP yields smaller logarithmic standard deviations.
