Pape presenting the automatic state of health estimation (SOH) of lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries with a pulse method, measurements. The circuit, which was applied for the measurement, is presented. The results are shown with the presentation of characteristics of several different batteries, exhibiting different states of health. Estimation of state of health is possible also when the protection circuit is applied to the battery.
