• Techno-economic assessment for solar PV technology portfolios presented • For the Arctic region electricity yield and LCOE mapped in 0.45°x0.45° resolution • Horizontal single-axis tracking achieves ca. 770-2170 full load hours above 66°N • East-west vertical setup shows up to 13% yield deficit against single-axis tracking • Fixed-tilted, east-west vertical mix can mimic horizontal single-axis tracking • East-west vertical setup can reduce LCOE up to 14.0% above 75°N
