This systematic review summarizes currently published literature on the patient demographics, comorbidities, cutaneous lesion locations, time to diagnosis and outcomes in people who have pyoderma gangrenosum with extracutaneous involvement. The review found that haematological malignancy was the most common underlying systemic disease and that delayed diagnosis (> 6 months) was significantly associated with long-term sequelae.
