• The article introduces the use of the distribution of relaxation times (DRT) to evaluate irreversible electroporation (IRE) tissue ablation. • DRT efficiently separates between multiple overlapping processes. • After ablation, both the area and height of all seven peaks are significantly reduced, consistent with the ion redistribution phenomenon caused by membrane perforation. • A Gaussian Process Regression (GPR) framework was employed to quantitatively assess the ablation depth. • The four-electrode impedance detection technique effectively mitigates the interference from contact impedance.
