• Highly active pure-phase δ-MnO2 nanoflower nanozyme prepared at mild 80°C. • Extraordinary stability in solvents, high temperatures, salts, acids, and alkalis. • Simultaneous colorimetric detection of CC and HQ within 1 min at sub-μM levels. • Great selectivity, anti-interference and reliable performance in real water samples.
