Yuxuan Fan is a visiting undergraduate student in the Chong Liu group, where he studies the automation of electrochemical systems. Chong Liu is a professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his BS in chemistry from Fudan University and his PhD in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and then conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard University. His research integrates electrochemistry, nanomaterials, machine learning, and artificial intelligence for the design of electrochemical systems for energy, biology, and the environment.
