• A high-strength fluorinated poly(urethane-urea) vitrimer was synthesized using a vanillin-derived trialdehyde cross-linker. • The vitrimer exhibits excellent recyclability and rapid self-healing ability. • The fluorinated structure provides outstanding wear resistance and superior chemical stability in harsh environments. • This vitrimer-aramid composites are highly puncture-resistant and allow for non-destructive fiber recovery in acid solution.
