Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• 33% removal of young leaves reduced fruit yield in greenhouse cucumber. • No yield difference between 33 and 50% leaf removal. • Yield reduction mainly due to decreased total dry matter production. • Model predicted an increased assimilate partitioning to fruits with leaf pruning. • Fruit growth duration and abortion dampened the observed effects on partitioning.
