Abstract
En 中文
• Two e-LNG and two bio-LNG production routes were investigated • EROEI of renewable LNG is 25-50% lower than the fossil one • Water electrolysis is the main bottleneck from both economic and environmental perspective • Bio-LNG + cryodistillation reduces environmental impact with good economic performance compared to the other three renewable LNG routes studied • None of the renewable LNG routes considered outperforms fossil fuel LNG on any of the three indicators (energetic, economic, and environmental)
