Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
Repeat-pass video synthetic aperture radar (VideoSAR) delivers the perceptive backscattering phenomena to infer the scenario from signal samples in multiple dimensions. A 360° repeat-pass circular stripmap (RP-CSM) VideoSAR of the overflown area can raise the capability of wide-area reconnaissance. In this article, a novel jamming perspective on the RP-CSM-VideoSAR system is proposed for defending against detection, recognition, and perception of hostile reconnaissance and safeguarding the concerned region. Jamming templates are generated by the 360° repeat-pass circular spotlight imaging mode, and an associated joint azimuth–depression deceptive jamming strategy for the RP-CSM-VideoSAR system is further proposed. We conduct imaging and simulation jamming experiments on multiple military targets based on the multirotor unmanned aerial vehicle-borne VideoSAR system. Finally, the significance of and clarifying tips on VideoSAR jamming are discussed.
