Comprehensive monitoring of vibration information during downhole drilling is a crucial research topic in the field of drilling engineering. Combined acceleration spatial array sensors can measure vibration information at the actual rotation center of drill pipes due to their structural characteristics and decoupling principles. However, they suffer from low measurement accuracy, poor universality of decoupling algorithms, and inability to locate the rotation center, making them difficult to meet the vibration measurement requirements during downhole drilling. This paper designs an n-prismatic 3n (n >= 3) axis acceleration sensor array model, incorporating the number of sensors (n) into the decoupling algorithm, allowing adjustment of n based on different inner and outer diameters of drill pipes. The rotation center positioning algorithm is derived using Matlab, and Ansys simulation software is employed to simulate the acceleration distribution on the drill pipe cross-section under given vibration conditions, thereby analyzing the measurement error of the four-dimensional acceleration sensor and the positioning error of the rotation center. Results show that measurement error of 0.17 %, an angular acceleration measurement error of 0.01 %, and a positioning error of 0.73 %, providing a reference for measurement-whiledrilling and sensor array design in the oil and gas industry.
