Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Hydrate-based H2 storage in coal may overcome limitations of adsorption-based method. • CH4 and other small hydrocarbons are efficient promoters for H2-containing hydrate formation. • Coals with different ranks affect gas hydrate nucleation through different mechanisms. • THMC coupling is essential for reservoir-scale evaluation and engineering design.
