• A two-stage robust optimization model is developed for UAM skyport and network design. • Aircraft failure uncertainty is explicitly addressed via a robust optimization framework. • A column-and-constraint generation algorithm is proposed for efficient problem solving. • Numerical experiments and a case study validate robustness and scalability.
