Abstract

Security of multimedia content on the Cloud has emerged as the major research area in today's era of the internet. Most exchange of multimedia content across the globe is done over the Cloud. Such communication is done openly in a cloud environment where anyone can quickly access the data. Therefore, it should provide reliable security mechanisms and standards for the shared multimedia data for users. This study highlights better protection of multimedia data over the Cloud than the existing approaches, where the information cannot be unwrapped reasonably. The encryption process is speedup using the multiple VMs over the Cloud for parallel processing of the chunks of the data. The proposed algorithm is well-designed and suited for efficient computation with limited resources,as most wireless devices come with limited bandwidth and computational power. The qualitative and quantitative evaluation is performed to compare the performance of the proposed S-Method model with the state-of-the-art models. A computing time shows that the proposed approach can meet the requirement of real-time applications.
