• Salvia miltiorrhiza (SM) accelerates wound closure in mouse models. • SM enhances wound strength by boosting collagen synthesis (↑hydroxyproline). • SM reduces oxidative stress and inflammation (↓TNF-α, ↓NF-κB). • Histopathology shows improved collagen maturation and tissue regeneration. • SM promotes angiogenesis (↑VEGF), reducing fibrosis (↓TGF-β) and apoptosis.
