Abstract

• The article introduces a new resilience measure that complements prior ones. • The measure is algorithmic and relies on the network’s shortest-path tree. • The algorithm computes network resilience in polynomial time, even for large systems. • The method is tested on real datasets: the US airport network and BIS interbank data. • Our approach proves effective for studies in economic and infrastructure networks.
