Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• The impacts of high-precision narrow beams on target tracking and radar beam scheduling are analyzed; • A Gaussian mixture (GM) filtering method specifically designed for the narrow-beam problems is proposed; • A beam steering strategy that ensures rapid target localization for narrow-beam radars is proposed; • The multiple hypothesis posterior Cramér–Rao lower bound (MH-PCRLB) for the narrow-beam problems is derived and an approximate method is proposed; • A mathematical optimization model of the multiple narrow-beam scheduling problem based on the MH-PCRLB is proposed and a framework to determine practical solutions is formulated.
