Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
A novel single-channel linearly constrained minimum variance (LCMV)-based adaptive beamforming method with time-modulated array is proposed and verified. Time-modulated technique is utilized to generate a modulated single-channel signal. Furthermore, in digital domain, with l(2) norm optimization, covariance matrix of original signal is recovered from the sideband signals, which are extracted from the single-channel signal. Finally, the optimal weighting vectors can be determined by LCMV. The proposed method has lower channel mismatches, hardware complexity, and cost compared to the traditional multichannel structure. And in the procedure, only fixed time sequences are needed to calculate the weights and obtain the output signal. Simulation results are provided to show the procedure and verify its effectiveness.
