Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• A mesoscale modeling framework considering heterogeneity and defects was developed to study the mechanical behavior of GPC. • GPC has detectable size effect in flexural, cubic compressive, and axial compressive strengths with a descending order. • Size effect intensifies with increase of slag content, aggregate content, and initial crack depth. • A unified size effect model was proposed by combining with Bažant SEL, enabling strength predictions with adequate accuracy.
