Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Meta-analysis quantifies differences in soil erosion (SE) between karst and non-karst regions. • Subsurface structure of karst may lead to underestimation of SE by routine surface monitoring. • Grassland is the main risk source of severe SE in karst, while in non-karst it is farmland. • SE in karst regions is mainly driven by the combined effects of rainfall and slope length. • SE in non-karst regions is primarily controlled by rainfall intensity.
